The video explores the notion of speaking through silence. An interview with an American war veteran promises the telling of a story after 50 years of silence but portrays mainly a private world of untold memories.

This video is part of a body of work which includes Words In Silence. Seeking to find a voice for the female subject Words in Silence stays within an ambivalence of control and failure and plays with the paradoxical notion of speaking through silence.
