The event was streamed live by UPGRADE Munich WHITE MARKET is a platform for performative interventions which take place in urban environments and engage with materials and gestures of the everyday to create temporary spaces for art. WHITE MARKET foregrounds the artist’s exploration of his/ her market value, exploring performance as merchandise, the body as material and gesture as form. Events borrow, mimic, recycle and play with what the familiar, combining and contrasting the mechanisms and value systems of the industrial economy, the art market and the domestic realm. Audiences may take part as passer-by, as observer or commentator, contributor or recipient of a service or gift.
